Buying Land, Creating Communities
If you own – or know about – land with the potential to be transformed into a vibrant SOTEL® Community, we want to hear from you. Can you help us to buy land? In 2021, will invest several million dollars in land and over the next seven years we would like to acquire 50 sites. As demand for retirement communities continues to grow, so does our ambition to provide greater numbers of high-quality age-exclusive developments. We’re always keen to connect with landowners, property specialists, and agents across the 13-PA counties to secure the land we need. We aim to make it easy for you. With over 30 years of expertise and experience in site search and obtaining planning permission, you can rely on us for a smooth, straightforward and quick acquisition process. We pay a generous commission for all successful introductions, too. Get in touch. We want to hear from you if you own, or know of, land that might be suitable for our developments.
Sites requirements:
1.5 - 5 acres in size
Within a mile from shops and public transport
Good locations with public water and sewer
Community Led Development
If you like what you read about SOTEL Communities and there is not such a community in your area, contact us. We can help you and your local peer members to establish a proactive-adult (62+) community in your area. “Community Led Development (CLD)” is the process of locals seniors working together to create and achieve a locally owned senior housing cooperative. It is a planning and development approach that’s based on a set of core principles that (at a minimum) set forth a vision and priorities by the people who live in that geographic community, put local voices in the lead, build on local strengths (rather than focus on problems), collaborate across talents and human capital, is intentional and adaptable, and works to achieve systemic change rather than short-term projects. We specialized in acting as “co-op-agent”.
